Are you a driven and independent person, ready for a new challenge? Look no further, Cloetta is now hiring an interim Business Development Manager E-commerce based at Cloetta’s headquarters in Sundbyberg. This is a maternity leave cover between – months, starting Jan th 5.

About the role

The Business Development Manager role is a key contributor to continue to accelerate the online growth for Cloetta by developing current online business areas as well identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

Cloetta’s current online business spans across several areas such as omnichannel grocery retailers (eg. ICA, Kesko, Albert Heijn), online grocery retailers (e.g. Mathem, Oda, Nemlig, Picnic), market places (e.g. Amazon), quick commerce retailers (e.g. Foodora, Wolt) and direct to consumer sites.

The role is part of the Central Marketing team at Cloetta and reports to the Global E-commerce & MarTech Director. You will work closely with e-commerce teams in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Netherlands and the UK.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and execute the strategy for E-commerce related to business KPIs, product offering, channel segment strategy and prioritization
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities
  • Project management – lead and/or support local and global projects
  • Evaluate and develop current Amazon business
  • Explore white space opportunities within E-commerce globally
  • Lead business improvement projects related to online fundamentals
  • To be successful in this role, we see that you have the following background

    Minimum 3 years experience within e-commerce, business development, category management, marketing or trade marketing. Prior experience from FMCG is advantageous but not a must.

    You hold a Bachelor or Master level degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or other relevant field.

    As a person, you are independent, driven and able to make things happen in a large yet agile organization. You are skilled within project management and data analytics. You engage and influence stakeholders through clear and impactful presentations.

    In addition:

  • Strong business sense and experienced in building business cases including financial evaluations
  • Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships across all level of the organization
  • Change agent – always looking to improve the current and go after new opportunities
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Amazon experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English is a must; Nordic or Dutch language is beneficial but not mandatory
