As a Facility Coordinator you have an important role in providing good and efficient services. You take care of all operational facility work at our site in Oosterhout.
What you do on a typical day as Facility Coordinator
- You are responsible for facilities in the Oosterhout site such as safety, building and site maintenance
- You identify potential risks and violations in and around buildings and ensure safe working conditions
- Project management. Maintain a comprehensive overview and coordinate all projects throughout the year, such as installing new lighting in all halls. It involves different projects to maintain the building and the grounds around it
- Process Optimalization. Analyze data from existing systems, critically assess current processes for improvement, and enhance the use of existing systems
- Coordination of cleaning staff. You act as the primary point of contact for the warehouse cleaning team. Handle escalations and manage order requests, ensuring smooth communication and efficient resolution of any issues
- You maintain communication with various suppliers to request quotes, place orders, arrange work schedules, and manage invoicing
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Relevant working experience in a similar role (facility services, safety, technical services, admin) or finished study in this area
- Good knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Great communication skills, flexibility, proactive attitude, independence
- Speaking and writing in fluent English, knowlegde of the Dutch language is a plus
