Aemas zoekt support (service en applications) engineer
AEMAS in Oosterhout (N-B) is een 25-jaar jong gepassioneerd bedrijf op het gebied van verkoop en onderhoud van instrumenten voor element-analyse (ICP-OES, TOC, Hg-analyzers, monsterwisselaars en Dissolution & Diffusion testers). Ons werkgebied: BeNeLux en deels Duitsland en ondersteuning van resellers/distributeurs in Europa.
In Oosterhout hebben wij ons kantoor, applicatie en demonstratie laboratorium en het centrale magazijn voor Europa voor verbruiks en service onderdelen.
Op korte termijn zijn op zoek naar een full-time (40 uur) Support Engineer.
De taken van de support engineer zijn:
- Het installeren van de apparatuur en trainen van de gebruikers (BeNeLux/Duitsland)
- Het verlenen van service/reparatie van bovengenoemde apparatuur (BeNeLux)
- Technisch advies aan gebruikers en distributeurs/resellers
- Assistentie in het applicatie laboratorium
- Assistentie bij het verzorgen van demonstraties op ons demo laboratorium
- Af en toe service en/of installaties uitvoeren in het buitenland
Omdat Aemas in een klein team werkt, zal er af en toe een beroep op je gedaan worden om collega’s te helpen bij andere voorkomende werkzaamheden.
Waar voldoe jij aan?
- Je hebt een HBO opleiding op het gebied van laboratorium, natuurkunde of vergelijkbaar, of MBO met enkele jaren ervaring
- Je bent flexibel (soms lopen werkzaamheden uit)
- Je bent bereid te leren
- Je bent inventief, ‘als het niet kan zoals het moet, dan moet het maar zoals het kan’
- Je wilt een klant zo goed mogelijk helpen
- Je bent sociaal
- Je spreek- en schrijfvaardigheid in het Engels is goed
Ervaring is een voordeel maar niet noodzakelijk.

AEMAS in Oosterhout (N-B) is a 25-year-old passionate company in the field of sales and maintenance of instruments for elemental analysis (ICP-OES, TOC, Hg analyzers, autosamplers and Dissolution & Diffusion testers). Our working area: BeNeLux and partly Germany and support of resellers/distributors in Europe.
In Oosterhout we have our office, application and demonstration laboratory and the central warehouse for Europe for consumables and service parts.
In the short term we are looking for a full-time (40 hours) Support Engineer.
The tasks of the support engineer are:
- Installing equipment and training users (BeNeLux/Germany)
- Providing service/repair of the above-mentioned equipment (BeNeLux)
- Technical advice to users and distributors/resellers
- Assistance in the application laboratory
- Assistance in providing demonstrations at our demo laboratory
- Occasionally performing service and/or installations abroad
Because Aemas works in a small team, you will occasionally be asked to help colleagues with other common tasks.
Which requirements do you need to meet?
- You have a HBO education in the field of laboratory, physics or similar, or MBO with a few years of experience
- You are flexible (sometimes work takes longer)
- You are willing to learn
- You are inventive, ‘if it can’t be done the way it should be, then it should be done the way it can’
- You want to help a customer the best you can
- You have social skills
- Your speaking and writing skills in English are good
- Experience is an advantage but not necessary.
